i'm ready to explain myself. (title post)

today seemed like a perfect day to start my blog. everyone is talking about obama being the change this country needed, a long time coming. and while i personally do not agree with most of his policies, i am amazed at his ability to make things sound like they could never be better. in fact he made one of the most despised aspects of human life sound appealing. change.

i guess my reason for making this blog is simple. i want people to be able to understand my daily thoughts, and to see who i am. in all reality i want change in all aspects of my life. some of you may know that i am a christian. i do not call my self religious, because i am not. i dont believe in a set of rules, i believe in a man. i believe in a man who was god in the flesh and set out to show his love to the world. and i guess that is what i want to change. i want to change the worlds view on religion. those men who are out in the public eye, for the most part give christians a bad name. and i cant stand it. i dont hate, i love. i dont judge, i help. i dont condemn, i lift up. to put it simply, i want a revolution.

for those of you who already know me, this is how i have felt for a long time. it just took me a while to put pen to paper (haha see the pun?) I am who I am. nothing will change. this is not my soapbox, this is my journal, posted for you to see. dont condemn me, just talk to me.
